A pair of Newnan businesses – Jenco Sales Inc. and Southside Wrecker Service – combined to deliver supplies to Texas for Hurricane Harvey victims recently. The supplies were collected by the Newnan Police Department.

Jenco Sales donated the rental of a 20-foot storage unit for the supplies. Southside Wrecker donated the transportation.

An official of Southside Wrecker traveled to Texas on Sept. 13 and delivered the load of Hurricane Harvey relief supplies. The driver was escorted by two of the Newnan Police Department vehicles and a few police officers.

“Southside Wrecker provided a tremendous service to the Texas relief effort and the Jenco Team is proud to have had the opportunity to contribute,” said Robert Dollar, owner of Jenco Sales Inc.

Jeff Poquette with Southside Wrecker said, “This is what community teamwork is all about. Thanks to all the citizens of Coweta County who donated the much-needed items.”
