The Arnall Middle School Select Chorus was among 48 groups from across Georgia invited to perform at the Georgia Governor’s Mansion during its 2017 Holiday Celebration. The Arnall Middle School Select Chorus performed on Dec. 15 at the Georgia Governor’s Mansion Holiday Celebration.

Georgia’s First Lady, Mrs. Sandra Deal, was on hand to host the event. Arnall’s Select Chorus was one of 48 choral or instrumental groups from around the state chosen to participate in the Holiday Celebration.

The Select Chorus sang for forty-five minutes and presented songs from the musical, “Christmas Time is Here” and other holiday songs such as “Bell Carol”, “African Noel”, and “The Hallelujah Chorus”. Students were able to tour the Governor’s Mansion prior to their performance.

The chorus is an auditioned group of about 35 and includes sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. The chorus is directed by Robin White.
