From Special Reports
The Coweta Community Foundation will host its Third Annual Saturday Down South Sporting Clays and Southern Supper on Saturday, April 14 at Blalock Lakes Sporting Club from 2 to 8 p.m.
The sporting clays portion of the day begins at 1 p.m. with warm-up, and the sporting clays shooting begins one hour later. Participants and guests are welcome for a Hunter Casual evening of Awards, a Southern Supper, Auction and Music beginning at 5 p.m.
The popular auction portion of the evening will include some great gifts and prize packages, including guns, bourbon, cigars, art, beer and wine, and spa and media packages.
Lori Duncan, the Foundation’s fundraising chair, is co-chairing this year’s event with fellow board member Suzanne Kleese-Stamps.
“It will be a spectacular event with everything from the clay shoot to silent and live auction items, fun, food, and friends new and old,” Duncan said. “Something to look forward to is that Knife and Stone will be catering the event, Prime Time Eventz will be the DJ for the evening, and Pork Pie Productions will be our photographer.”
Duncan said funds raised at the event will be used for operations and the Foundation’s grants.
“We look forward to seeing everyone there!” Duncan said.
