Despite a frosty start to the week, the National Weather Service in Peachtree City says to expect seasonal temperatures for the week of Oct. 22-26 here in Coweta County.

This morning, a Frost Advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. Then temps will rise to near 67 later in the afternoon. The warmest day of the week appears to be Tuesday with a high forecast of 70. And Wednesday’s high is expected to be 69.

Things change on Thursday as a 20% rain chance slips into the forecast and highs only reach 59. And on Friday, rain chances are 30 percent with even cooler temps as the high will be 54. Lows will be in the 40s for every day of the week.

TODAY – Areas of frost before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 67. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

TUESDAY – Partly sunny, with a high near 70. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

WEDNESDAY – Sunny, with a high near 69. Northeast wind around 5 mph.

THURSDAY – A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 59.

FRIDAY – A 30 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 54.
